Very astute - I've been learning music production for the last 1 1/2 years, nobody gives a fuck (understandably), I have very little to show for it despite learning a ton, and what I do have to show sucks ass. I struggle DEEPLY with burnout. Based on your ideas I'll try to find a community for this
Somewhat! I think software engineering is very much in flux and so I want to grow the blog into something self-supporting, which is think is plausible but not guaranteed.
Failing that, it's good for networking into whatever I do next.

2 years unemployed sounds amazing! I only wonder, are you worried about being unable to get back into the job market?

That.. seems very true! I think a LOT of fields are going to be in flux the next two years...
